I can’t find anything either way re the pool but what the heck? Wow. Either way, what an awful situation.

Yes…. My friend who died recently had called them up at one time and asked if they had a recovery pool and they said they did not…

Looks like Rich Strike will be at stud at a farm in eastern PA, a bit north of Philly. I hope they have an open house to celebrate! Thank goodness it seems to be a good situation for him.

Thorpedo Anna won the Eclipse for Horse of the Year for 2024. I met her and fed her peppermints. She is very particular about peppermints and won’t eat the flat ones (I think that was the way it went) 
The most important thing is that she didn’t eat my hand instead of the peppermint. They call her the grizzly or something.

Old Friends lost 2 elder statesmen this week. I knew them both. My friend who volunteers there liked to stop and see Kayrawan whenever she could.

Rich Strike is now moving to NY:

I guess he didn’t get many mares booked to him in PA, although apparently the group that just bought him started discussing it around the 2nd week in January, so they didn’t really give him much of a chance in PA. I really wish I had gone to the open house they had. Hopefully the farm in NY won’t be too too far away. Will be interesting to see how he does.
