1) YAY: That’s where the pandemic is the worse in this country right now, IMHO. And those states have a much higher population density than most of the U.S.
2) I tend to be (small l) libertarian on many issues, I’m big on personal liberties, and I think a light distrust of government is healthy. I’ll make two exceptions: public safety (this current pandemic is an example) and things involving children/minors.

2) l’ll admit it - I’m conflicted about the pastor getting arrested. There’s safety and I do think he lacks a lot of wisdom (and his church even more - I think I would want him fired and would probably want to leave and find another church). And every church I know is doing services online now. But I don’t like the precedent that this could lead with other faith communities.
