This or That - Round 42

Nay

Should the joint USA/Canada/Mexico bid for the 2026 World Cup is successful, should all three be granted automatic qualification to the World Cup?

YES
or
NO

Yay

Should it be compulsory to obey an evacuation order in areas threatened by a hurricane - Yes or No?

Yes

Should a Rush Limbaugh be held criminally liable if one of his listeners who believed him when he said Erma was a hoax and stayed is hurt or killed?

YES
or
NO

NO - As looney/ridiculous as I think Limbaugh is, holding him criminally liable would set a really bad precedent when it comes to free speech.

Besides, the proper answer is having the critical thinking to analyze what anyone is saying. The odds that The Weather Channel, NOAA, FEMA, the State of Florida, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News would all be intentionally wrong is about zero. Real conspiracies don't work that well. ;)

Even if Irma ends up being not that devastating, it's still better that as many people are out of the area as possible. For many reasons.

Now that I've finished that rant -

Pick a sandwich for lunch! :D

or

or
Chicken Parmesan
or

or

or

Shepherd's pie

U.S. Open: Kevin Anderson became the first player who played in college to reach a Grand Slam singles final since 1999 and if he beats Nadal, Anderson will become the first ex-college player to win a major title since John McEnroe at the 1984 U.S. Open. As a promising junior player, Anderson received some offers to go pro, but chose to go play at the University of Illinois instead.

You see the same dilemma in sports like track & field, swimming, golf, etc.

Should promising teenage athletes focus on pursuing NCAA or going professional?

NCAA
or
Professional
or
It depends on how good the athlete actually is and what $$$$ they can get as a teenager.
