This or That - Round 42

With whipped cream......

You find a plastic baggy on the stairs outside of your working establishment and it has 5,000 cash in it with no I'd at all.

You:

Keep it and put in savings or retirement
Keep it and buy clothes
Keep it and travel or use for entertainment
Go back inside building and give it to your boss or security
Call the police
OR
Run away as fast as you can because the owner might see and track you down to get it back :bribe::dog::lynch:

A circus

Pre cooking food in large quantities and freezing it? So you don't have to cook dinner during the week.

YAY
or
NAY

No.

McGregor said after the match that he will go back to MMA/UFC but is interested in boxing again. Will we see McGregor in another high-profile boxing match?

NO - He can't win.
or
YES - He could win. Or that really doesn't matter. $$$$$ for promoters and McGregor. McGregor was probably worth $20M until last night. He probably made $75M losing to Mayweather.

YAY (not really adamant though)

Disaster you would most want to avoid

Flood
Earthquake
Volcano eruption
Eboli outbrea
Zika outbreak
Hurricane
Tornado
Nuclear plant release like Chernobyl

YAY - If it's not disruptive. I hope dialogue between the White House and Texas (assuming Governor) is that Trump will wait if things are still too hectic.

Personal story: On March 1, 1997, an F4 tornado ripped through my hometown (and 2 other F4s throughout Arkansas). The downtown area was completely destroyed. President Clinton visited on March 4 - but there wasn't flooding or ongoing weather issues; just either an insane amount of debris or just stuff being gone. :(

Here's a short video of when President Clinton visited my hometown. :(

On a lighter note, let's talk about food! :D

1) Would you ever consider eating or cooking this?

YES
or
NO

2) Which recipe do you prefer?

JP's
or
Julia's
or
Julia's Mom
or
That's not how I want to die.

Yay - so far. The crisis is still ongoing. I will say it was really critical that the state of Texas went and applied and got the federal disaster declaration ASAP. Ideally, state/local governments should bear most of the responsibility for disasters/crisis and federal government should step in when the state/local is overwhelmed.

Because of federalism/10th Amendment/Stafford Act, the federal government cannot come into a state's jurisdiction without that state's permission. This was the first major wrong step that happened with Katrina - Louisiana's governor/New Orleans' mayor dropped the ball on what federal assistance was needed.

I will apologize for the somewhat political rant here. :saint:

Back to food........
