2) To be fair, the American in me will probably always be skeptical of the Saudis - especially after 9/11.
3) I think the Saudis are really peeved that countries are importing far less oil lately. Look at this drop from the U.S. since summer 2017. I think they’ve always known how we felt about their human rights and not cared as long as we bought enough of their oil.
