I've not seen much yet, only Lombardia, the Nebelhorn RD, and portions of Lake Placid.
I'm glad to see Guignard & Fabbri use the Robot program as an FD. By the time it is polished, the unison within it should be impressive. I do wish they would add a bit of the fun relationship back in as well.
Carreira & Ponomarenko's RD feels like a good fit for them. It has a unified theme and isn't disco.
To me, disco & techno are so repetitive. They can work very well to wake up a crowd in the middle of an FD event full of warhorses and soft & flowy "I love you" pieces. But if everyone is doing disco, there's a heavy risk of all the programs looking and feeling the same. Also, if you are going to do John Travolta, it carries the same risk as I mentioned last year with Michael Jackson or Paula Abdul. These people are dancers. So you'd better be able to move like them if that's the choice you're making. (And I haven't seen anyone moving like John Travolta yet).
