Good for Amber. I REALLY hope she makes the Olympics. I've liked her skating for five years and I'm so glad she's finally starting to get it together. She's pretty much my favorite US skater. After her, I hope to see Alysa there too. The third spot probably to Bradie since she's such a hard worker and I like her chill approach.

Amber is such a fun skater to watch. With her, you see huge emotional investment in every performance, too.

So proud of Amber today. It’s been a long time coming to put out two awesome programs in an international competition. Overcoming nerves and just going for it has to be a huge confidence builder for her. The crowd was really getting into the final part of her program. Hopefully she can ride the love and support moving forward.

She was nice enough to pose with fans after the FS. I was totally freaking out. One minute I was texting ANL about the competition and the next I’m posing with Amber - she TOUCHED my back. I’m still giddy.

I really appreciate her power and speed and emotion. To me that stood out from the more robotic performances from other skaters. And good on her for no q, ! Or <

Consider this season the start of a new chapter for Amber Glenn.

But she needed a clean slate, and so she decided to part ways with her old coaching team in Texas and strike out on her own. She moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to train with Damon Allen, Tammy Gambill and Viktor Pfeifer.
"Everything parted ways on great terms," Glenn said. "I'm so thankful. It was just time for me to try something new. I couldn't stay in the same environment or the same kind of routine that I had. I had to do something new."
It's taken her some time to adjust to the new environment in Colorado – namely the altitude, as well as moving away from Texas and her family for the first time in her life – but the change, she says, has been worth it.
"It had been a long time since I had worked with any different coaching staff, and being surrounded by people who are doing these triples and quads and stuff has been extremely motivating," Glenn said. "I'm challenging myself on my programs, on my choreography, on my technical skills. It's been very rewarding. I feel like I'm getting the most out of myself right now."

I must say I was impressed by Amber’s strong SP skate at SA today. Thought she deserved more points. That 3-3 was amazing. Artistry blended so well with the music. Unique compared to so many other skates that look so familiar. Hope she has an equally strong free skate!

@AngieNikodinovLove when you return to the U.S. you have to get the free Opera browser and you will be able to watch. I finally got it up and working yesterday, thanks to helpful FSU folks, so I could watch the men's and pairs medals ceremony and rewatch some of the performances I liked best.

I also watched the SA Exhibition skates. Amber was absolutely on fire in her performance to Billie Eilish. Wow! She skated like she does in her TikTok videos. You have to see it! Fierce!!
