Some amazing Original Set Pattern clips from the 1981 World Championships - thanks to Sk8FraSch
Another one. Schwarz & Koenig's bronze medal winning performance from the 1988 European championships. They never really lived up to their potential.

Wow I hadn't seen this in years. How was this nearly 30 years ago? I remember so clearly watching them skate and loving this pair. So dynamic, powerful and sadly so horribly inconsistent. Nice to see this re-surface again to remind everyone what a great pair they were.
This next one is a real treat! Lynn Nightingale made her international début at this competition and placed THIRD in free skating behind Karen Magnussen and Janet Lynn. Incredible skate.

This is truly brilliant free skating; way ahead of its time and woefully under-marked by the judges. I just hope Jennie and her skating get the recognition they deserve 50 years after the fact.

This one is really special:
There must be some on here who remember the skating of Jennie Walsh; 1967 World team member for the USA. But equally her skating will be new to many others, myself included. This is truly brilliant free skating; way ahead of its time and woefully under-marked by the judges. I just hope Jennie and her skating get the recognition they deserve 50 years after the fact. Please feel free to share.
