Matt :smokin: oh how I miss him. Thanks for posting the videos.

I especially liked his programs in 2005 and 2006. So glad he got his trip to the Olympics!

Matt Savoie was really ahead of his time. I think he would have been great under CoP and wish he was hitting his prime right around now. I know he was around the for the beginning of CoP but it wasn't used properly the first few years, IMO.

The reason why she did so poorly in figures and always had to depend on free skating for her placement. You need the portion of the foot that she was missing for balance and control.

She never used it as an excuse, or wanted sympathy because of her problem.:respec:

One of the best FDs ever IMO, and under COP.
    Gregory/Petukhov GPF

This is the only FD of theirs that really made me sit up and pay attention. It was just gorgeous. Question though, why did they change their costumes for Worlds? The ones at the GPF were so pretty and the ones at Worlds were so...not pretty.

^^ I loved that program, and I agree about the costumes. They were so perfect for the theme and then they lost their taste I guess.

And yet another montage.. This one is of Denkova & Staviski to "Anytime, Anywhere" by Sarah Brightman:

Keep them coming, Karpenko! Great as always.

I told literaryfreak I'd post some K/O videos, and here they are.

    Masquerade Waltz
I hated DomShabs version and didn't think I'd like this one, but I absolutely love it.

    1996 Worlds Russian Folk dance

1998 Olympics Carmen (my personal favorite Carmen)

And while I'm at it I might as well link some Klimova/Ponomarenko; this is the first FD of theirs I ever saw and I became an instant fan

Thanks lmarie! The only thing I've watched of K/O is their Jive OD, which I love, but Thanksgiving break wasn't long enough for me to watch more:) Now I have all these lovely links!

If anyone knows where this montage exists but with the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" music playing to it. It'd much appreciated. I like the montage but I think it was far superior with Cyndi Lauper's song playing during it.

Here's a brand new montage that I just finished, it's the most detailed editing that I've ever done and has lots of new special effects. :)

The theme is Ice Dance Divas to "Queen of the Night" by Whitney Houston. :D It has Pasha Grishuk, Marina Anissina, Barbara Fusar-Poli, Angelika Krylova, and Tatiana Navka. Brian Joubert also makes a guest appearance:

^ I actually watched that this morning when I first turned the computer on. Great job, I love the effects, they looks really complex. Question though, what is that clip of Krylova in the Cleopatra outfit from? I've been watching some Krylova/Ovsiannikov videos lately and I haven't seen whatever performance that's from.

Just a heads up to people uploading Eurosport vids, my youtube account just got deleted :( I had a ton of vids and a ton of subscribers, this really sucks. :fragile: I had a bunch ODs and FDs from 02 and 06 Olympics up and thats what did me in (and a copyright to one of the songs from one my montages), be careful from now on.

Thanks, I'm contemplating making a new one for my montages only, but it's going to take awhile to build back up and I don't have a lot of the montages that I had up on youtube anymore on my computer. :( Argh, it's just such a bummer.

Ahh that's such a bummer! I'm so sorry that happened, I was subscribed to you too!

Have you considered dailymotion? Over at Goldenskate we had youtube threads for competitions but within hours videos would get taken down after links were posted (someone watching the site). USFSA can't do that with dailymotion though, from what I've read at Goldenskate. It might be worth a shot.

Don't rely on Dailymotion. I tried uploading there once. My first montage was flagged and yanked before the second one had finished uploading! And the music for it had been classical!
