Not in the habit of blessing inanimate objects, but I am blessing my Xfinity remote that allows one to not only identify favorite programs but favorite athletes, actors, etc. Now that I am retired, I started to look at what my remote captured for the upcoming week. Lo and behold I found a program I don't normally record.

NBC ran a full page ad on the back page of the 1st section on the New York Times yesterday. Above the fold they had a collage of Team USA athletes with the title 'The Best of U.S.' Featured in the photo collage were Shaun White, Mikaela Shiffrin, Chloe Kim, Lindsay Vaughn, 3 athletes I didn't recognize, and Mirai and Adam, both of whom were in the front row. :)

I hope so too. However, given that the Shibs are starting to be courted by ABC(Kelly and Ryan tomorrow morning), I'm wondering if they will be selected. Adam is obviously being courted by NBC
 
Adam will be on Stephen Colbert and The Late Show with Reese Witherspoon on Wednesday, March 7th. This should be particularly good. I get three for the price of one!

Adam officially withdrew from Worlds and is not listed on the preliminary entries list that was published earlier today on the ISU website.

ETA: Dancer/Choreographer Travis Wall posted an Instagram story within the past day which mentions he will be working with Adam in 2 weeks.

I noticed Adam was a guest at Ross Matthew's "Straight Talk" podcast (he's a comedian & RuPaul's Drag Race judge) back in January. BUT I can't wait to see him at the Oscars and I am so happy he is realizing so many of his endeavors - the Olympics, an Olympic medal, STARDOM! :respec: Oh, and of course MONEY! :D

But also, for anybody preferring to live in denial, nothing's stopping us from fantasizing about Adam returning to comp next season with fully healed foot & shoulder and with two consistent, fully rotated quads, ripponlutzing and quadtoelooping his way to the podium! I mean, it COULD happen. (In theory.) It's just not a very likely scenario, and that's okay.
 
I think it’s pretty safe to say he’s done. He’s 28 and not competitive at the top. His goal was Olympics. He got it and now he’s ready for the next chapter.

I wonder what’s up with him and Ashley. They usually pop up on each other’s Instagram but we haven’t seen anything since before Pyeongchang. I’m a little surprised. I hope everything’s ok there. They are bff goals.

There is always a next Olympics and if NBC or other media wants to add more to what is already offered, he would be a great choice.
