It's the upper body motion either with one or two arms that distinguished the dance from the sixties

When someone says "tone it down," what does that really mean?
If you aren't being loud or rude, there's no need to tone your self-expression down for anyone. And I think you need to look inside yourself and ask if you are happy with the way you are and if you enjoy your experience. Are you treating people the way you want to be treated? If you do that, then that's what matters most.

What do you say to people who think athletes should keep their opinions to themselves?
Being an athlete, you're given this incredibly large platform where there's a lot of people looking up to you. And I think if you feel like you have the strength to take on a subject that matters to you, even if you may receive backlash about, just do it. But you should only do it if it feels right and is true to who you are. If you have the opportunity to help other people, then you should take advantage of that.
