Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir # 47: Come What May...

Typical biased power abusing mod that thinks his insults are funny and oh so witty because he watched RuPaul's drag race once. I wish there was a block button for mods at least have an exception button for him since the crap he spews is on the level of a common P/C uber youtube troll not a moderator.

he'll come in here and roll his eyes :40beers::cheer2::glamor: aint he such a diva?

I do feel sorry for Gabby. That must've been horrible.

I do not feel anything for these judges except contempt. Do your jobs properly.

I feel badly for her too. Really a humiliating thing to happen on the Olympic stage.

That said they were really overmarked in PCS. They looked tentative to me, even before the twizzle mistake and costume problem. They weren’t very expressive and the performance quality not nearly as good as V&M.

Anyway, great skate from V/M. They should be thrilled with it.

I haven’t thought that the short dance from the French was all that strong period. The Canadians skated a masterpiece and frankly THEY should be the ones with exemplary scores even if its a mistake. They are impenetrable in terms of error. What a blueprint for training , mental fitness and optimism these two display. That perfect midline step... what the fawk!!! Did you see that? Like. It was the best ever, EVER. the performance, the complexity but lost importantly the way their blades devour the ice. The Rhumba they execute needed a bigger surface.

Tessa and Scott are the best. Other teams have returned and couldn’t come close
To besting their previous selves. Tessa and Scott even make their Mahler look decent. I still think they’re out of this world picking MR for the free and having their team rally to make it art. I’m happy they didn’t go classical.

I hope the judges judge what they see tomorrow. Both teams are worthy. The best skate should win

that's why, i'm still disappointed that p/c got 81 to v/m's 83. not enough point difference to really set them apart and be comfortable with the lead. and the judges can just easily overscore p/c in the free, considering how they overscored p/c with the PCS

Real talk though having a malfunction happen to any team or skater t makes me feel bad. P/C were trending for all the wrong reasons just like that Korean ice dance team.....:(

.08 with the twizzle error, making the judges look super silly and clear favoritism. Smh

Maybe it has to do with P&C beating V&M at the GPF and thus having a bit more momentum going into the Olympics? I can't say for sure since I don't have a good understanding of the points system.

I really feel that the judges are tired of the medals being in North America these past 2 Olympics, so they want it back in Europe. I don't even care anymore as long as V&M have another brilliant skate tomorrow. They blew me away today.

Ok I must say, no way do P/C deserve those high scores after that skate and I don't want to hear about how fairly marked P/C are because if this was any other team that skated that skate, they would have lost a lot more marks. I'd have them in third for that. Tomorrow is going to be close...I don't know what's going to happen.

you know what's gonna happen? and i really hope this won't happen but the judges will score p/c more than 2 points ahead of v/m on their PCS, even if v/m skates clean

They beat their own world record..the judges actually gave them what they deserved..I was so emotional omg..please they have to win this, I don't see the French beating them if they skate clean & as well as they can!

Twizzle error, wardrobe malfunction, what else? Is the wardrobe malfunction an automatic deduction? If so, how much and what mark would it affect? Was there a lower level for the twizzle?

Obviously, the goal all season for many of these judges was to keep the SD scores for V/M and P/C as close as possible (even when undeserved by the French in the beginning of the season) to avoid a situation similar to last year's world's where the French won the long, but the 5 pt. differential in the SD scores prevented them from overtaking V/M for the title. By having them breathing down each other's necks in the SD now, the judges could claim consistency with previous scores, giving the impression of "fairness".
