He's not quite as old as Voronov, but Takahito Mura has been competing forever, overshadowed by Daisuke Takahashi, Yuzuru Hanyu, and now Shoma Uno. I think he has a chance of competing at the Olympics and/or Worlds this year, and hope he skates well at 4 Continents (which he won in 2014, after only placing 6th at his nationals.). Mura's got the unforgettable costumes & cool hair. He skates to a variety of great musical selections, and manages to do quads and giant triple axels in heavy looking, ornate costumes with jewelry. After a downer of Grand Prix competitions, he did pretty well at Japanese nationals, winning bronze.

Here's his recent free skate:

Huge jumps at the junior grand prix final in 2006 with a wild costume:

Check out his amazing quad toe-quad toe attempt in practice (pretty good, two-footed the landing of the 2nd jump) & showing off his 6-pack, starting at about the 1:10 mark:

Appearing in one of the ShibSibs videos from The Ice 2012. Very entertaining with other top skaters:
