You know how Blue Sophie has been angsting about her knowledge is power advantage? Savannah has immunity. Rizzo has the idol that everyone thinks needs to be played at six left but is actually five. Stephen has the block a vote.

Logic says can’t touch Savannah or Rizzo so Sophie is gone unless she can take either Rizzo’s idol or Stephen’s block a vote. So she uses the knowledge is power against Stephen. But he played it before coming to tribal council against Savannah, so he can honestly say he does not have an advantage. (It’s a new twist.)

But wait! There’s more! They teased us with Sage contemplating getting Stephen out. Won’t ever happen. Except it did. Tribal Council was unanimous against Stephen except for his vote. Rizzo once again faked playing his idol, Sophie felt embarrassed, and there you go.

Soph has the perfect leverage to vote either Rizo or Savannah out now, though. She can tell the jury that she realized when he didn’t play the idol on her that she was 3rd in that group, bla bla and she had to step it up. And there’s her big move leading to final 4 and so close to the final tribal.

I’m going to assume final 5 will just focus on Rizo having to make the decision of whether to play it on himself or Savannah because I get the feeling (and hope) neither wins immunity just to spice it up.

So the finale is being split up by a "Presidential address" this evening. Thankfully my PVR knew and is recording both parts

I was kind of hoping Soph would pull it out. And yeah, they should have gotten Savannah out.

I hate that Savannah won and also realize that she deserved it. I didn't think yelling at the jury about how she deserved it as a final plea would work, so I was surprised. Sophi was the nicest of the 3 but she really was just carried along with her alliance. I think Sage burned too many bridges at the end.

Hell, as much as I disliked Savannah, even I would have voted for her to win, as she was clearly the most deserving. I liked Sage best out of the three who were left, but she had no chance. Not sure if I'm looking forward to season 50 or not, with returning players. I usually don't like those seasons as much as I do the ones with all new players. And not looking forward to seeing some of the returnees again.

Got to watch it last night. Result was no surprise. Not the best season, not the worst. At least it had some memorable players.
