Stars on Ice Spring 2026 Tour - U.S. and Canada

I’m really hoping that the U.S. cast is expanded by at least a couple additional names. It seems like a very small cast as it stands, and it’d be nice to see a few additional folks have the opportunity, even if it’s just guest spots in a few cities.

I’m thinking specifically of folks like Zingas/Kolesnik, Max Naumov and Starr Andrews.

My expectation is they'll have additional cast members included at select locations, especially if there are national team members with ties to the area. IE - Naumov and Efimova/Mitrofanov in Boston, Providence & Springfield; Chan/Howe in Anaheim and Allen; Torgashev at the Florida stops & possibly Anaheim; CarPon in San Jose; possibly Sanchez in Albany, Long Island and Newark.

There are barely any stops in the Midwest - Chicago, St Louis & St Paul - maybe ZingKol get added to Chicago as that's the closest location to Detroit right now.

I can't see them adding Starr since there are already 3 women in the cast and she's making the transition to pairs.

cpom are my special babies so they should be added to allen

I checked yesterday, and prices are insane for the remaining seats in Boston. Individual tickets (not good seats, either) are in the $250-$550 range! Kinda exciting for the skaters/tour organizers/etc., but we obviously won't be going.

Tickets are more normally priced for the Providence RI show, with mainly ends and upper bowl available, but I don't know if we'll make that one either, as it's on a Wednesday night and a 1.5 hour drive for us.

I don't remember Sarah Hughes having as much impact on skating show tickets as Alysa. Wonder if the impact will be the same if Alysa medalled, but not at the top...
Well, that's probably because Sarah Hughes wasn't ever part of the SOI cast. They had Kristi and Tara as the US women's OGMs during that era. Sarah (and Michelle) toured with Champions on Ice.

And even with her OGM, MK and Brian B were still the COI headliners. Sarah skated with SOI for one season, in 2005, but her skating level had dropped off considerably (understandable since she had been a full-time college student) and audience reaction was lukewarm.

And I'll add that while Alysa is a big draw as an OGM, Ilia and C/B also received a lot of publicity and recognition during the Olys, plus the U.S. winning team gold. There are likely multiple skaters/achievements driving ticket sales.

Yes, and Amber also received her share of media attention during the Olympics. I'd say those 4 skaters/teams are what is driving ticket sales - hence a second show in Allen, for example. What blows my mind is that there aren't any shows in the greater DC or Detroit areas. There are some open dates that may allow for additional shows in those areas to be added.

Sarah Hughes was definitely on Stars on Ice. I saw many, many shows in that era and she was in them.

Unfortunately, the closest show to DC is a few hours away in Hershey, Pennsylvania. A lot of fans will have to get hotel rooms.

Sarah was on SOI during the 2004/2005 season.
I saw at least ten SOI shows that season. The Florida shows were a fun road trip with Gerry (Milanessa :wuzrobbed ). From looking at my review notes, Sarah skated to Eva Cassidy's "Over The Rainbow" and Tamyra Gray's "Raindrops Will Fall." :p
