Just seeing confirmation on Twitter: Raptors home games next week will be Tuesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 3, so everything looks good for SOI on Friday. :)

Good to know. The Toronto show is sold out(!), so it would have been awful to reschedule.

Sounds really wonderful! I guess I can stand that Sheeran song just one more time. I loathe it! But everything else sounds like a massive celebration! Looking forward to Toronto show!

All the Gadbois teams who dance with Sam Chouinard danced to this in 2017 doing hip hop etc before it was chosen by P/C for this years program. clips of tessa & scott dancing and also Tessa and Guillaume.. I really like it.

I love all the World champions welcoming Kaetlyn into the club! It really goes to show how accomplished this cast is.

There wasn't a single number in the show that I didn't enjoy, but I do have to say that particular intro was one of my favourite parts of the show.
I enjoy the show every year, but I do think this is one of the better ones of the last few years. It is such a shame that when they make the tv version, they chack about 1/2 the show.
My only :( with this show was the fact that there was no Kurt Browning. Knew that would be the case of course, but I don't think I've ever seen one that Kurt wasn't in! It just felt odd.
The other thing I was a little disappointed in was during the lindt intro, they had local skaters skate a number - a dance pair from the Minto club I think, although the names escape me. I was disappointed that their number was so short - I'm not sure if it was even 60 seconds. Would have been nice if they had given them the time to skate a whole program.

From photos & videos I've seen, it appears that the crowd in Montreal really "got into" the show using their cell phone "lights" to create some special effects during the show.

Was anything there to see it?

I did not go but saw some instagram stories which showed the lights and the crowd was soooooooooo loud.

I wasn't there.

Zach Donohue went and was saying how amazing it the show and the crowd was. He was especially impressed by Tessa and Scott and Jeff Buttle. He said Jeff's number was one of the most incredible things he's ever seen and after the show he picked Tessa and Scott's Moulin Rouge as his favourite program. He also showed the whole crowd singing along to Patrick's Hallelujah.

Actually it appears that Zach went with Olivia Smart, Tim Koleto, and Misato Komatsubara. And they all met up with Sam Chouinard afterwards. Marie-France and Patrice were there too.

I was at the show in Montreal last night, each and every performance was so wonderful. The crowd first started with the cellphone lights during Gabrielle Daleman's performance, and it was simply magical; she was obviously touched and the crowd gave her a well-deserved standing ovation. I can't gush enough about VM's numbers, especially seeing Roxanne live, what a delightful experience. Patrick Chan - hallelujah! We have an abundance of riches when it comes to figure skating talent in Canada.

I was at the Toronto show tonight and as a veteran audience member of CSOI (I've gone almost every year since I was a kid in the mid-90s), I have never seen a CSOI show as sold out as this one. Between the new security measures at the Air Canada Centre and the absolutely sold out crowd, the lineups to get through security and into the arena were huge, up to half an hour long (or some people said longer, depending on when you got there). Hearing the chatter in the line and in the crowd inside, I would say at least 50% of this crowd seemed to be Olympic-year casuals who are (probably temporarily) obsessed with Tessa and Scott. (I say this not as a VM uber, but as a long-time fan who gets annoyed hearing casual fans shrieking about shipping them and having conversations full of fake knowledge and wrong "facts" about their career. :p )

My favourite parts of the show were the "Fields of Gold" number by the team gold medal winners, V&M's Moulin Rouge (obvs  ), both of Patrick's programs, Javi's "Promise' (beautiful!) and Kaetlyn's "Lost". I also loved the closing number, mostly because I'm a sucker for musicals and "You Will Be Found" is my favourite song from Dear Evan Hansen.

I've got a bunch of the shrieking shippers in my timeline. God love 'em (and God help me). At least I was able to get a Kaetlyn report from one of them -- she fell, but got up and finished her program "beautifully."

Best show in years! Sold out and people went to great lengths to get there. Tons of security and lots of chaos from the storm that knocked down trees and even took off roofs as well as a collision on Bay St. caused by a drunk driver who hijacked an Uber car and damaged 2 cars and injured several pedestrians.
Everyone in the cast was superb and there were all kinds of lovely personal touches. People went totally ballistically crazy for Scott and Tessa; Elvis hasn't skated this well in years; Wea/Po look like they are ready to take on the world; Patrick was so touched and stopped to chat with people at the end; I could go on and on! But if you were not there, do yourself a big favour and check the youtube videos for a flavour.
Truly a huge cross-Canada party and the skaters are having a blast. Hamilton's next. Party on!

You can find many videos from the Hamilton show on this channel, mostly the ones with Tessa & Scott including chatting before the retakes for the TV production:

I was at the shows in Montreal, Toronto and Hamilton and I think it was the best show I've EVER seen. I'm completely blown away. Jeffrey Buttle has done amazing choreographies for all the group numbers. The emotional highlight was Moulin Rouge of course. The crowd in Montreal was the loudest of the three and they gave almost every skater a standing ovation in the second act.

Just got home from the London show. Practically sold out and oh so loud! :D Loved Kaetlyn's Lost number plus Weaver & Poje's first paso/tango number ... and V&M of course. But the best part was Scott falling about 15 seconds from the end of Moulin Rouge and then going so OTT after he got up (such a ham:rofl:). Tessa was laughing so hard she almost couldn't finish.:rofl::rofl:
