The Spot the Station mobile app is an official NASA app that helps users track and receive notifications for International Space Station viewings as it passes over their respective location. It also provides real-time tracking, flyover schedules, and alerts.

I get email notifications of when the station is going to be overhead. You can put your location in and it will tell you exactly what time it will be overhead and the direction it is coming from.

It is very bright and moves very quickly. You can usually see it for a few minutes. Pretty cool thing.
