Ilia finished when the music did. He either moved too early at the beginning or the music is right at the limit and played a hair 'too fast'.

Time violation... I guess they need to tighten up the music edit to get him to the ending pose a bit faster. I do not want to see another season of my fave skaters getting time violations because they've put together a music edit that goes right up to the 2:50 mark and choreographed their program to finish on that last beat (still not over Lindsay getting multiple time violations last season and how Sandra Bezic didn't even seem to fix it going into this season for her).

Ref and I both had Ilia at 2:51. (I was timing again tonight obviously. )

I'm really happy for Kevin, gutted for Lucas. Lucas's skating is so beautiful and it makes me sad he's not rewarded. He looked a bit Jeremy Abbott pukeface before his skate. Donovan has so much charm and charisma, love it. I enjoyed Ilia's program and I'm not the biggest Ilia fan but damn his jumps. You can tell he is working hard on improving other parts of his skating. Really pleased Kao skated well with how terrible practices have been for him.
