I’m not sure if Copper Whisk takes reservations. Last time the casual restaurants wouldn’t let us reserve a table for dinner when we had a small window between events. We had to book it through the casino to beat the rush.

I was just told by a friend that their favorite restaurant in LV is "Lotus Of Siam". It's off the strip. She's Chinese and her cooking is delicious so I would trust her on this recommendation. She says it is the primary reason she goes to LV!!! lol. Now I'm mad I cancelled my reservations for SkAm. I want to try out that restaurant!

You might want to check out Mikey Chen's Youtube Channel Strictly Dumpling for dining suggestions. While there is a partial Las Vegas Playlist, I believe that there are many other videos of not just Asian cuisine but others as well. Mikey, across his five channels has a combined following of probably about 8 million subscribers. He also provides links to the restaurants, etc. within each video. Here are a few of those. I would scan the right hand side which may provide additional links. He also reviews the most expensive options which provides insights into what it's like to experience those options. Please ignore the Polish buffet video; I included it by mistake.

I was planning to stop by and talk to them after checking in later today.
So I forgot to ask what time. Let's say 9:30 am so that (a) we have time to get seated if they don't take reservations and (b) no rush to the event. If that's too early, please say so and I'll change it.
Also, we're in Section 105, Row E, Seats 1 & 2. If people post (or DM me) their Seats, I can make a list and pass it around. So we can visit each other during breaks.

Checked in to the Orleans yesterday. This hotel is older than I remember! One of the lamps in my room doesn’t have a switch, and has to be plugged in and out to turn it on and off. 
Oh… and my towels are shedding…

On another GP set of observations, some friends of mine attended Cup of Russia about 10 years ago. When they called down to the front desk for toilet paper, they got screamed at. When they went down to the bar for a drink, the hotel had sold out its liquor supply to a wedding!

I wish USFS would reinstate fantasy skating after two years of absence.
Why did they stop doing that? Who goes to USFS website anymore nowadays
USFS used to have forums, fantasy skating. And they outsourced the forums to ice network and that never went anywhere.

Didn't Ice Network buy out FigureSkatingWorld and froze out all the thousands of members unless they paid $30 per month? I know alot of people bought into that, but fortunately @SHARPIE was kind/smart enough to start up FigureSkatingUniverse. Haha, IceNetwork! Whatever happened to you? lol. Some platform needs to reinstate fantasy figure skating. I had so much fun doing that. I mean don’t get me wrong I was a disaster at it but I really enjoyed it over all those years

Skatingscores.com does it sometimes. They did it for the Challengers this season but as of now haven't set anything up for the GP. Cab fare from the airport to the Orleans is a flat fare of $23.00. If you use a credit card there is a $3.00 surcharge. The cab line moves very fast.

Not sure what Nevada or Las Vegas local mandates are but here in Los Angeles even at the new SoFi Stadium people who went to the Rolling Stones concert this past weekend and even though it was an outdoor event they were extremely strict checking everyone’s vaccinations to get inside the outdoor stadium
