He took a chance on an unknown group, allowed them to experiment and go beyond the limits set by the musical establishment. There will never be anyone like him.

So much respect for this man who said, "Let's see how we can do this." rather than, "No. It can't be done." What he did with what he had at the time was astounding. There was no computer sampling, or digital 32 track recording. He helped The Beatles become the biggest influence of time. RIP, Sir George.

He was granted his own coat of arms in March 2004 by the College of Arms. His shield features three beetles, a house martin holding a recorder, and the Latin motto Amore Solum Opus Est ("All You Need Is Love")
