RIP Jerry Lewis

A great comic, he bought MDA to the public's attention, had a lot of critics but I prefer to remember the joy he bought in his films.

So sad. I still remember seeing The Family Jewels in a movie theater, and we didn't know that was him playing like six different people, when I was a kid. And having the telethon on all day on Labor Day (when we only had three channels to choose from). Then school started on that Wednesday.

As a small child most of the movies I can remember watching are of two types, Indian and Jerry Lewis. LOVED him and the world has lost a great talent. May he rest in peace.

I always loved Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin in the movies. They were one of the greatest comedy acts when they together. I can't believe I found it on YouTube, but it was there.

In 1976 during the MDA telethon, Frank Sinatra brought Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis together for a reunion.

The initial reunion was awkward.
However, the death of Dean Martin, Jr., caused something of a "renewal" of their relationship.
