Prince Andrew

In a brief order issued on Tuesday, the US district judge Loretta Preska said that without any valid objection by Epstein’s estate, the document should be made public on or before 22 December as part of Andrew’s case.
I expect that the prince will appeal that order, so I don't count on publication any time soon.

Her layers will definitely appeal and try to plea bargain; that's always the next step.

Don't plea bargains happen pre trial with an admission of something and offering up something else to get a reduced sentence? Can they happen retrospectively for someone who claims no wrongdoing? Wouldn't she risk perjuring herself?

She would have been in a stronger position if she had tried to plea bargain before she was convicted. However, after the fact, she may be able to strike a deal for a lesser sentence if she has info on Andrew that others want badly enough. Or her conviction could be overturned on appeal; her lawyers have already announced intention to appeal. The trial may be over but the legal saga is not.

Ah thanks. Understood.

I don't think her sentence is negotiable though.
I agree. Plea bargains happen for various reasons but not so often when the evidence is overwhelming and/or the crime is heinous. She might have been able to get a lesser sentence if she had offered up high profile people like Andrew before the trial. I believe the only way that could happen now is if she wins her appeal & I don't think that's likely.

This might protect him from civil liability, but it won't stop a criminal investigation. And that he had to rely on the settlement agreement is a public relations fiasco for him.

The best thing he could do now would be to withdraw to his mother's estate in Scotland and stay there. He won't, of course.

Andrew and Harry should both have their patronages and titles taken away. I thought the whole Fergie toegate was bad, but they took it to a new level of low.

Yes, I'm not wild about Fergie but for awhile Andrew came out smelling like a rose while she was dragged through the muck. Who knew how creepy Andrew was at the same time?

I haven't kept up a whole lot with any of this. I've been been reading over the last few days. The more I read, the more I really wonder why Fergie packed up her girls and left Andrew. I'm wondering what all she knew. Am I wrong to be suspicious?

My perception was they got divorced because Fergie couldn't behave up to a certain standard. But I believe they lived together even after the divorce.

They do, they're friendly enough to live together but I don't trust either one of them at all.

Andrew's naval career meant that they only spent 40 days a year together. I think that was a huge part of her seeking an affair with the other guy.
