Nobody ever believes me when I say they are more focused on the performance than on the result, but I stand by itMore interviews: http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/jo/jo-201...stress-pour-papadakis-et-cizeron-1375118.html
I like Guillaume's comment in this interview. He says they just try to have their best performance in Olympics but it is not like their lives would be dependable on it.
I think they truly believe that, and it's one of their strengths.Nobody ever believes me when I say they are more focused on the performance than on the result, but I stand by itI think they truly believe that, and it's one of their strengths.

Which in no way contradicts my statement...Except in the interview at these Games, Papdakis stated for the team event she looked at scores. So clearly scores do count.![]()

If you don't get the nuance between "they don't care about winning" and "they care more about the performance than about winning", then little can be done to help. But I'm not too worried for you, I'm quite sure you do understand. If they only care about how they skate, why worry about the scores of others?
Roll eyes all you want but she is a competitor and wants to win. They are good enough to do it.
Just like Tessa and Scott, G&G want to win at the end of the day. Enjoying the process doesn't change the fact they want to win.![]()

I think what millyskate said is that yes, they'd like to win obviously, but even when you look at the scores you cannot do anything at the end of the dayLmao- love your snark bait but they wouldn't be competitors if they didn't want to win.
But do please carry on...

. Actually last year, it got them a bit lost that's why they are less focused on what the other will do but more on them... (They have no choice this time, they cannot afford to lose points like this because they want everything they can possibly have - A state of mind !) Let's say, a bit like the Shibs and less like Meagan Duhamel if you allow me the comparaison
(No one can beat her at calculating anyway...)Nothing new, Romain just stating again how they DHL approach coaching three top teams, trying to get the best out of each team and during the competition each couple do need a referent coach so no surprise here: Romain for P/C, Patch for H/D and Marie for V/M.An interview from Romain Haguenauer in french https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJGZT1jx5Vk
Good, after V/M like GPF. Not 1st, not last, what's not funny for the coaches is Gadbois going 1,2 and 3Papadakis/Cizeron to skate second in the last group. Thoughts on the draw?
Poor them as if it wasn't hard enough already !
But I´m also looking so much forward to see them skate again

GC : We stayed one more week for polishing, training, detailing, it helped us mentally and physically, we feel ready. It's nice to arrive and be "fresh", good timing or us.
