Cool to know that Mirai is tacking on a 3t to everything these days, that will be helpful if she needs to 'add one on' at some point.
I, too, like the training clips, though I have to say in light of her performance at NHK after going offline in preparation, I'd be pretty okay if she went off the grid in the lead-up to Nationals.
I don't mind her not competing Golden Spin, I feel like she competed enough this Autumn and has a good sense as to how she needs to compete with the 3A in both programs, both in the mental sense and the physical sense. Though I guess I wouldn't mind if she had one more event to work on 'giving face' in competition, but I think she's going to be okay.

GRRR or BIG SMILE
... And think to herself how smart
she was to invest time into new technical content ... Because in 2018 she is Tom Z's "great athlete" when she was Frank C's "great artist" in 2010, imagine that! ... And it is her technical content, and her technical content alone, including the history making 3As, that will get her on that Olympic Team.

I just hope that hers aren't when it counts the most!! It is so risky to go for (3A) broke! Then again, playing it safe can backfire spectacularly, too.
I originally began following Mirai because I wanted those videos of 3As only people on Instagram were seeing
