What exactly is a euler, was it named for Leonhard Euler (possibly the best name ever) and what would happen if someone did a double euler?
An euler, previously known as a half-loop, is a jump that takes off from a back-outside edge of one foot, and lands on the inside edge of the other foot. It allows skaters to do combinations including a salchow or flip as the final jump. What exactly is a euler,
As far as I can tell it is not named after Leonhard Euler.was it named for Leonhard Euler (possibly the best name ever)
There is no value for a double-euler in the scale of values for this season so it would be a judgement call of the technical panel as to how to call the jump. I would think they would label it a double loop.and what would happen if someone did a double euler?
