I don't know - watching Bad Vegan and Tinder Swindler , they just seem liked Supersized Dateline NBC or A&E True Crime episodes.

Check out Rescued By Ruby for light and fluffy with a gorgeous furry star.

More light and fluffy: "The Adam Project" on Netflix has a pretty cute kid playing the young Adam/Ryan Reynolds, who is the main star. Bonus: Mark Ruffalo plays the dad, Jennifer Garner the mom, and Zoe Saldana also has a small role as the love interest. Fun movie for a little bit of fluffy diversion on a Sunday afternoon. :)

The real Ruby and trooper Dan. SPOILERS :cheer2:

Border collie and Aussie Shepherd. No wonder the dog was so smart and had tons of energy.

They show a little bit of the real trooper and Ruby during the credits of the movie. And a little bit of the actor dog playing Ruby. The actor dog was a rescue dog as well. There are some amazing rescue dogs out there. My sister's mother in law rescued a dog. A couple of years later, the dog kept poking the woman's breast. She had been a nurse and had read that dogs could smell cancer. Just in case, she got it checked out. Sure enough, she had breast cancer, which was caught much earlier than it would have been otherwise. So, they saved each other.

The Tinder Swindler sounds like he is back in circulation in Israel. Though I wanted to string him up by his toes, I was a bit amazed by his juggling act of having one lover pay for the next and so on and doing this all over Europe. His prison sentence was nothing.

Bridgerton fans, the new season starts this Friday! Alas, no Rege-Jean Page this time around, however. I hope that doesn't affect its popularity too drastically, because I'm hoping for many more seasons. Lord knows there's enough source material (12 books in all, I believe).

My husband texted me to remind me. Said that weird old fashioned sex show you like has a new season

It was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 already last year so we at least have that!

I liked season 2 of Bridgeton better than season 1. I just binged it. It really helps that Jonathan Bailey is a much better actor than Rege-Jean Page, IMO, gorgeous though Rege is.
And that Jonathan's conflict is a lot better developed

I also thought it was better written. And better acted. The one caveat is that I wish
Kate had been funnier. She wasn't funny at all, unlike in the book.
.

I binged Bridgerton 2 yesterday and feel the opposite. I found Bailey to be quite wooden in some scenes and there was one scene where he was shaking his head constantly - that was so distracting. Plus the sex is way too toned down from Season 1. Plus the Lady Whistledown subplot was too drawn out; it got so tiresome after a bit. I thought Season 1 was far more entertaining and entertainment was what I was after.

I just finished bingewatching S2 and I have mixed feelings, but overall enjoyed it. Lady Featherington is my favorite manipulative, cunning villain, lol. As I said to a friend, if anyone wonders where Penelope got those traits, the apple doesn't fall far from mama's tree.

Yup. I loved the fact that Lady Featherington out-scammed the scammer. So much fun. And yes, Penelope shows so many of her mother's traits, it's amusing to watch how people overlook her,
right up until Eloise catches on. Their falling out was a bit of a heartbreaker, as their friendship is one of the best parts of the show.

I agree with you. Given that he is gay, his superior acting would convince one otherwise. the only times when Kate was able to show her funnier side were the Pall Mall game and at the horse races.

I have never liked Star Trek episodes with Q. I find the character annoying and the concept lazy. I am also not a fan of time travel and alternate realities. There are some I've enjoyed, but it has to be done really, really well.

So you can imagine how I feel about Season Two of Picard.
Q is always good for a laugh. My view is mixed, find it hard to follow the 'serial' nature where the plot of every episode carries over into the next, etc. But it is good to see Jeri Ryan back as Seven, having evolved emotionally, maybe no longer wearing that sexy cat-suit, but given enough physical activity that she brings a YOWZA element to her character.

I am loving Sanditon Season 2. Many of the previous season's characters are further developed with a whole new raft of trials and tribulations provided by both new and old characters. I just want to see Charlotte happy.

Bridgerton not surprisingly has overtaken quid Game as Netflix's most watched series during the first 3 days of release. One of components that helped i the musical score (it also applies to Season 1. Below is a very interesting analysis of the score and how individual songs are selected.

Are there spoilers in there? I don't want to be spoiled!

The soundtrack was excellent. Loved it.

Not sure what I think about Season 2 vs Season 1.

Acting was better in Season 2 vs Season 1 but I thought the chemistry of the leads was better in Season 1.

I also thought the Featherington angst and banter was better and funnier in Season 1 when it was husband against wife.

I also thought Season 1 had the better romantic storyline. Parts of season 2 were :wall:

But a good watch for sure.
