Netflix/Prime/Hulu/BritBox Binge Watching: Coronavirus Edition

Just watched the first episode of Inside No. 9 on Britbox and loved it. It's a black comedy so it might not be for everyone. So well written with a twist at the end I didn't see coming. My daughter tells me all the episodes are like that. It's an anthology series, so each episode stands alone.

Nope. I had high expectations for maximum camp.

I enjoyed Eurovision. Not as much as Blades of Glory though. Dan Stevens was the standout IMO.

Loved Defending Jacob!

I enjoyed it until the last 20 minutes or so. Wasn’t a fan of how it was wrapped up.

I really liked Defending Jacob too, I just wished they would have stuck with the ending from the book.
Great acting by Jaeden Martell (Jacob).

I am new to this thread, but I can only recommend 'Normal people' on Hulu.
It's an utterly honest, devastating and beautiful portayal.

Also loved 'Normal People'. And finally watched 'The Politician' (2 second aired just few weeks ago) and 'Pose' on Netflix - really liked it as well.

And re-watched 'Fleabag' - still probably the best thing I saw in a year or so.

I'm about halfway through 15 seasons of Criminal Minds. I never caught on to this show during its initial run, but a friend recommended it, and I'm enjoying it a lot so far. I'm a little leery of shows that have been on as long as this one though ... I wonder if the quality will stay as high.

I thought it was pretty good until about Season 10. Or somewhere around then. They went through a period where they had a long-running story about a particular unsub who was out to get them and I think that was the start of the decline.

I actually love Gilmore Girls even though I have major issues with it and I’m not even talking about that last season or that follow-up special they did. I will say Rory isn’t as interesting as we are supposed to find her. One thing that seriously irks me about that show is how much food is wasted.
