The actor, director, writer and author of children's books, had been dealing with aphasia in recent years, due to his dementia, robbing him of his speech. What a loss.

This makes me sad.

I was lucky enough to attend the live show in London a few years ago, and it was obvious he was struggling with his lines. He did great, though, under the circumstances and it was a fantastic show. So glad we were able to attend as there will never be another!

Yeah, ironic point about how both Jones and Rush drummer Neil Peart died: Both were avid readers/writers, and both died from diseases of the brain (dementia, brain cancer). Such a cruel irony.

When Graham Chapman died on his birthday Terry Jones called it the "worst case of party-pooing that I have ever seen." Chapman has just turned 48. Gotta love those guys. And now in his honor could we please have the Spam menu?
