Yes, I got 3 different bundles with a combination of short dance, USA/Russia hockey, a cross country event, free dance, curling, bobsled, ladies final, Nordic combined and giant parallel slalom snowboarding. Each of the bundles had 1 skating event and 2 other sports. The few times I have looked at OG tickets, it’s been multi-sport bundles or later, individual event tix. Can’t recall ever seeing all skating, but I never checked Sochi and that would be a pretty penny anyway. It was less expensive to get Cat A for ice dance than it was for ladies final so I got my good seats for dance and lesser seats for ladies.

Woohoo, my BEST friend just bought a 5 BR house on Main Street. (Tracks were not done in Torino- a bobsled competitor told me they were disappointed that the course had to be shortened to get them done so there would be no official records set there).

Regarding sale, I was blown away by how few fans there were. It was almost all sponsors, feds, families.

Did anyone receive an email saying the draw has ended and they will receive a date for a slot to buy?
Got an email today but the wording is so not enthusiastic that I’m wondering if it’s a fake…
 
I was lucky enough to go to 2002 in SLC. I got my ticket through a skater friend and had a great time. The tickets were just for the opening ceremonies and one event.

I got a mail with the title „Now it‘s time to wait for your timeslot!“ and the info that I will hear from them again: „You will receive an email between 5 February and 20 February 2025 with the details of your timeslot to purchase tickets“
This got my quite excited, even though it does not say that this timeslot is within those days or after them.
 
Got an email with my timeslot to purchase tix! 48 hours, starting tomorrow at 10 am CET/4 am ET (just like ordering tix to the AF House). Question for those who have been to the arena for 2018 Worlds (or any other event)....do you remember how many rows in the lower bowl vs upper bowl? If anyone sat in the upper bowl, how was the view?

It appears from a seating chart i saw a screenshot of that Cat A is the entire lower bowl, Cat B is most of the upper bowl, except for the corners which are Cat C. Friends and i are interested in B as long as we can see decently and the skaters don't look like ants. I've sat in rows as high as 20th (although it was lower bowl) at comps and been OK.

I’m in your timeslot and will also be up at 4 AM (on my birthday:lol:) I also have questions about visibility for anyone who knows the arena!

I got mine today. You get to choose any event for any day if the tickets are available. You have 30 minutes to finalize your purchase.

For me it's just about being there so I went straight for the cheapest tickets. Sadly, some of them were unavailable within the first few minutes so I got cat B for one event.
 
If you can find videos online from earlier skating competitions held at that arena, you should at least be able to get an idea of how far the first row is set back from the boards. I've noticed there's often quite a wide gap there in some arenas. I think it would significantly affect sightlines from the lower rows, with quite a lot of the ice blocked by the boards. The view from farther up probably wouldn't be affected in that way, but you could potentially be farther from the ice than you'd be in another rink, sitting in the same row.
 
Looking at what is available now, I can tell you that all events are still of course available, but the cheapest tickets are only available for days 1&2 of the team event, both ice dance events and M short. And the gala. Everything else shows category A&B only, and team event final shows category A only.

Mind you, I don't know if it resets each day or how it works.

I was going to try to get the cheapest tickets, but I guess that's out of the question if they aren't available anymore... it would be at least 2 of us maybe 3 and oof it'll get pricey.

Look, I have no idea how it works. Maybe they release a new batch of ticket at all prices each day? I really don't know.

And note that you do not choose your seats, so don't stress over seat plans. You just select a number of seats in each category and that's that.

Kind of like buying Nats tix back in the 00s. You sent in your order form and cc number 1-2 years in advance and found out your seats 6 weeks ahead of time when you got your tix in the (snail) mail.

I did see a post in an FB group that said we would be able to select our exact seats in Dec, but that wasn't from anyone official so I have no idea if that's true.
 
My confirmation email says that you find out what your seats are in December. The wording is:

You will be able to find your tickets and seat details in the Milano Cortina 2026 ticketing app from December 2025 by logging in with your email used to purchase your tickets.

I have a feeling they might open the resale website then (if at all) for those wanting to return the tickets. That way those buying them will know the exact seats they are purchasing.
 
One other note....I'm seeing posts online that some people had problems with their cc company rejecting their order charge. I called my co to let them know of an impending large purchase and they told me there was nothing they could do ahead of time, if my charge got declined, they would send a text (it happened to me once before) for me to click to verify but if that didn't work, call the Fraud Dept number.

Consensus is that the Fraud people are better able to resolve the problem quickly since they have access to the specific declined charges that the front-line reps don't.
 
Do you have Revolut? I used my virtual Revolut card and had no issues, worked the first time. Payment options were Visa and MC if I recall. May be different in different countries. I am in the EU.

Once you add your first ticket to your cart, you have 30 minutes (or 25? not sure). This is the time you have to complete the purchase, so adding more tickets or starting the checkout process won't stop the clock. I lost some tickets because of that and had to make new plans on spot.

I logged in at 10 am sharp and had to wait in a virtual line for a minute or two. Then I got to the ticketing page. The system was solid and not crashing. I suggest filtering the calendar by sport to immediately get a clear view of what is available. You need to unselect "all events" or whatever it is called from the filter and just select the sports you want. Give it a moment to load and show just the 12 figure skating events.

Once you start your checkout, you need to verify your identity/phone number via text message once again. You receive a code via text. It worked very well for me, it was instant.

Make sure you don't waste your 30 minutes thinking about the tickets you want in case you experience a delay with verification afterwards. And log in now to make sure you know your password etc so you don't need to reset that. I either forgot mine or you have to do a whole new profile to buy tickets. Probably the former.

Payment issues crop up fairly frequently for Americans trying to buy tickets for events and attractions in Europe. It seems our credit cards often lack security features expected in Europe. At various times these solutions have been helpful:

- Try all your credit cards.
- Try your debit card if none of your credit cards work.
- Especially if you have trouble before even reaching the payment screen, try a different web browser.
- If none of your web browsers work, try a different device (PC, tablet, smartphone).

I think PayPal is pretty much guaranteed to work if it's an option, but I have no reason to think it will be accepted for Olympic tickets.
 
We have payment issues with DH’s Israeli card all the time, but in Europe it worked better than our U.S. card which flagged and denied a couple of things.
 
If you have one, AmEx is more readily recognized by European systems.
