Happy Belated Birthday to the one and only Kween! I'm glad I'm here to say that!

I know she's just kidding, but I would die if she actually decided to compete. She's in fantastic shape.
For the 3rd edition of the ISU’s World Ice Skating Day today (Dec. 15, 2024): https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDm5D8pxbUn/
At least some ice shows!Dear Ms. Deanna Stellato-Dudek: please talk to Michelle Kwan about coming back after a long absence from competition. Thank you.
2004 Nationals FS to Tosca, link also shared by @kwanette on X yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPsCUfpGdsYSadly I never saw her "Lyra Angelica" program live, but I will never forget the literal whole Philips Arena vibrating from the crowd reaction at the 2004 Nationals in Atlanta, and the sea of stuffies which flooded the ice after her free skate. (Fanyu level adoration! ) It was almost like a tremblor! I honestly believe it surpassed the reception at DC Worlds.
I was sitting in front of Nancy Kerrigan that evening. One thing among many others that were notable(not shown on TV) was the jump at the beginning of the stepwork sequence with a look of absolute joy on her face. So emotional!Direct link to watch Michelle's 1998 FS in Philadelphia on January 10 (I was in the rafters on that night but the atmosphere was ELECTRIC!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okPRcajUQrM
ETA: Thank you @kwanette!
I think that was the moment I started breathing. My favorite part of the programs was when she did the spiral sequence because that was the cue for the audience to start getting to their feet. No other skater had that sheer happiness she had at that point in her programs.
I quit peeking through my fingers.I think that was the moment I started breathing.
