Magic surreal paintings by Rob Gonsalves!

I have a book on illusion art with some of these. Thanks for posting the link though. Great to see more.

Thanks for posting all of these! What I've seen so far are fabulous! Definitely bookmarking these sites. :)

Vladimir Kush has a similar style- my son has a couple of his, and we own a small one.

I know who Vladimir is, he is from Moscow and now lives on Maui and has several art galleries.

I see the site links his work to surrealism, but Vladimir does not consider himself a "surrealist", but rather "an allegorical realist". His one and only influence at the age of 14, back in Moscow, was a single magazine page of Dali's painting, "Giraffe on Fire", and that is only surrealist painting he saw for many years as they were not readily available in USSR at the time.

He is a very talented artist and a good businessman, and had a hard road to success. He does think he is a little more important, than he really is, in the world of international arts, but that does not hurt anyone, except few listeners when he says it... :D

Neat! I can definitely see a Dali and Esher influence.

I find the one with the puzzle particularly interesting - it has more dimensions to it and the others, and I'm still musing over it. I've only looked at the first series posted and will look at the rest later.
