So, we don't know when we'll have Chris Howarth commentating again on the GP but everyone really enjoyed playing Bingo again last night and today, so, @Theatregirl1122 and @MacMadame came up with the great idea of having a non-Chris-specific bingo game idea for the rest of the season.

from the SCI FD thread -

music choice bingo. We can have options such as "voiceovers" and the free space can be "a sad girl cover"

On the music choice front, I'll add in lyrical snot/contemporary modern dance, Emo cover of a classic, tango program, Ennio Morricone, Exogenesis, Taking Us to the Club!, "he/she could be skating to anything."

Costume choices - Moonlight or Clair de Lune in blue, 3+ men in GREY per group, Tango in red & black, Matrix with green crystals/stoning, POTC as pirates!, 3+ women with whickety-whack per group, 3+ women with slashes/odd cut-outs per group, 2+ men with 1/2 or fully sheer shirts per group, 2+ millennial pink/lavender women per group, Korean hair bling!

I really like this idea, but I wonder if music based bingo would work better at something like a JGP or early-season comp, where we don't know much about the programmes or music choices, yet. By the time we're in the main GP and we know the programmes, you could basicaly predict how your bingo card would fill up just by looking at the skater lineup, and what you know they'll skate to.

but the bingo cards are random - plus some people wait until the GP to tune in.

How about epic warrior soundtrack/score (a la Gladiator, Spartacus, Vikings, Age of Heroes, etc)?

Also, this season - we need a very specific Dune program bingo square, lol.

Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated film soundtrack

Chaplin or The Artist program (which we don't have many of this season, so this might be a good one to include, lol)

Famous French singer or movie (Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Aznavour, Piaf, Fabien, Dion, etc)

Chris Howarth didn't get the #shapehearts memo, but you can bet that Mark will bring it up next week - which sort of falls into the heart hands, but I think it should be a separate category since the ISU has made it a freakin' social media campaign, lol.

What's the difference between "molests the judges" and "touch the boards"? It's all shameless board choreo, lol.

Warhorse definitely needs to be split into subcategories - we can include, in the master list description at the start of play what fits into these basic subcategories - the more we have, the better, because that makes each one less likely to show up on everyone's bingo cards.

Molest the judges is doing stuff in their faces whether or not you touch the boards to do it. Touch the boards is when you do it anywhere other than the judges stand.

Oh, related to that is "flirting with a random audience member". Though one of them did it to some poor photographer just trying to do their job.

I think you have a point so I am trying to limit ones that are predictable. So more about things that don't always happen -- pops that look like jumps, eulers that look like stepouts, coach & skaters frosty in the KnC, coach cam (when they show the coach moving along to the program), costume malfunctions, etc.

For the warhorses, I want to keep is simple and not have too many as well.

I came up with:

If we do that, someone watching that broadcast has to promise to tell us since most of the people in the PBP thread are watching the ISU feed.
