I mean I have no doubt Bella did get hate messages because the internet is very good at that, but yeah, she is not trying to keep the nasty comments for Solene out of her posts which she could easily do so it seems like a rather pointed choice.

I thought it was directed at Internet attackers but it’s not good. I don’t think she’s going to have a future in US ice dance even if she could find another partner (she’s small enough for Gage and Ian, and talented, but those who live by social media also die by it.)

I think there could have been a way for her to salvage her career but this wasn't it for sure.
 
Certainly it's hard to imagine what she means by "Spreading misinformation and attacking others without due process is just hate."

What misinformation has been spread? There was the brief point when someone erroneously reported that the victim was a minor, but that didn't go very far since the truth was reported soon after. What is the misinformation then? Here is what I know of having been said:
  1. Ivan has been accused of sexual assault
  2. The victim is fellow ice dancer Solene Mazingue
  3. The allegations are credible enough to warrant a safe sport suspension
  4. Ivan and Isabella are legally married
  5. On her social media, Isabella shows herself sharing a room with her sister and does not present them as married
What part of this is the misinformation?

As far as due process? Public opinion is not a court of law. People discussing what has been said and forming their opinions about the credibility of the accusations is not "hate." Solene posting what happened to her is not "hate." People are allowed to form opinions regardless of what can be proven in court. There is no due process in the court of public opinion. If that is a surprise to her, maybe basing her career on social media was a mistake.
 
Somewhere along the line persons have sold their souls for success. When did figure skating lose balance? Is it me or marriages of convenience are becoming more common? In Flores' shoes, silence was her only hope. But, all of it is just distasteful.

I’m assuming social media is her main source of income. With 400k followers and a subscription service, she needs to post to keep her income flow going.

This is 100% it. She told her subscribers she's going to get back to a more regular posting schedule now. As someone who has helped with social media for organizations you absolutely have to keep a steady posting schedule or you will start to lose followers (especially if they are paying for it).

Pardon my ignorance of social media but why does Isabella Flores have 400k subscribers? I mean what does she do on Instagram that people find of value to follow?

Mostly posting practice videos of her and Ivan. So given what's happened, she's going to have to figure out some new kind of content to post.

I don't remember the arc of the follower count, but I believe she also gained a lot of visibility and in turn followers when she was posting all over social media about Tsarevski, him not getting in contact with her, concerns of him being in danger etc. That caused her to go more viral and helped increase her base.

There are lots of insane shippers out there who will believe anything, so it makes for rather horrifying marketing.

There are several ways her intent could be deliciously ironic or meta, but I don't think she's smart enough for that.

I'm glad that social media wasn't around when I was growing up less for lack of an audit trail than it being far too easy to be sucked into psycho-drama personas that you think you can erase like starting over a video game.
