Show aired last night and has been all over IG and Facebook so it’s not a spoiler. Johnny Weir was the first celebrity to be unmasked on the Masked Singer last night.

I watched it last night, too. I had already decided that the Egg had to be Johnny, and I was right. I didn't realize how well Johnny could sing!

How could you tell through all the vocoder? I assume all of the vocals are pre-recorded and enhanced on a show like this no? I mean Johnny was jumping at one point there and nothing showed up in the vocal....even Beyoncé's voice is affected by jumping.

Yeah, the swan was a dead giveaway for Johnny. I thought he did well though - good for him for having fun going on the show!

ETA: Just watched One Way or Another, and man, if Johnny Egg's voice is that thin after being pre-recorded and enhanced, I can only imagine what the original vocal was like

Oh dear lord, that was such self-indulgent nonsense. I get that Adam's prime demographic is screaming Japanese teenage girls, but I'm surprised the organisers didn't fine him for not actually skating.

At times Adam is a solid advocate for LGBTQI rights. At others, geez, he is really stuck on his celebrity status.

For those questioning whether the performance was pre-recorded:

A bunch of people have been asking me if we sing live on @MaskedSingerFOX and yes, we sure do. Very hard when you’re nervous to project your voice through a mask but we prepared for that. It wouldn’t be much of a singing competition if we didn’t actually sing, right?

I also saw a tweet from T-Pain on Ninja's Twitter that they would often have to perform the song twice, or even 3 times. I assume the performances are "enhanced" during post-production or spliced together.
