My favorite non-medaling team was the young Slovakians. Just beautiful style of skating and great carriage already. I will remember them.
I thought Wolfkostin and Tsarevsky were fantastic. Much better than the rhythm dance…. then the fall. Boom! Katarina has had more than her fair share of them unfortunately. I still remember her twizzle fall that cost Wolfkostin/Chen the Jr. World title. Last year they were too bombastic to me, but I see more control, better line and unison and overall improvement. Loved the dress….perfect skirt for her shape. Mark said he thinks that they will vie for the Junior World Title (I agree if they can stay upright) and then Ted basically told him to shut up

LOVED Fradji and Fourneaux’s “In the Navy” rhythm dance. Clever, memorable choreography combined with their lovely effortless glide and smoothness. Probably my favorite junior dance so far. But that free dance was boring and a snooze fest, went nowhere, though I could still appreciate their glide throughout. Stop using Exogenesis people!!
