Overslept and woke up in time for the last group - I'll go back and watch the first 3/4 of the competition later, lol. New Italians were okay - nothing exciting.

Fradji/Forneaux - she messed up her twizzles but I don't care because that step sequence to YMCA was outstanding! And for all the griping I did last week about the RD costumes of Arribert's teams, I'm in love with Celina's dress!

OK, Korea, I know they didn't do the ranking competition or whatever it was, but you need to get Jinny Kim and her new partner out there pronto.

They did do a ranking competition for jr ice dance. I don't know if Jinny has a new partner yet, but if so, they didn't compete at that event in July. It was just this team - Yoo/Grant - and Namu Lee with his new partner Madelaine Breau. So, we're only going to see Yoo/Grant and Breau/Lee on the JGP this season. Breau/Lee will be in Thailand next week, Yoo/Grant's 2nd assignment is Turkey in 2 weeks, and then Breau/Lee's 2nd event is the last JGP in China.

I remember these Canadians from NextGen or sectionals or something. They have some nice qualities. Bummer about the fall, but kudos to them for keeping the performance going.

Yikes! Huge fall for Briere/Levesque as they started their last step sequence. And that was after they both botched up their twizzles. Good thing they're already confirmed for a 2nd JGP in Turkey.
