In the long shots on my 22” TV, it looks torn, not like hands at all.

Adam started strong and I thought he was going to put it all together, but alas no.

I appreciate that he's trying to do something different, even if they're not really my thing, but I don't think the other elements are enough to save the overall impression when there are this many jump errors.

Program construction is a bit weird considering it's 7 of the first 8 elements being the jumps and then almost everything is packed into the last minute to make it a 'program'. Step sequence is glorious, choreographic sequence is among the best but this whole journey of movement that he's capable of and more or less does in the SP is sacrificed here to just go from big jump to big jump.

The program started out very strong, and then the Axel jump timing got in his way, and he was all over the place in the air on the last 3 jumps.

180.15 = 1st Place
258.64 = 1st Place

the first half from Adam was really magical - like a year ago (or was it two?) when he seemed nearly unbeatable (expect from Ilia of course) - but then it kind of fell apart. But at least one can see of what he is capable of

I always appreciated Daniel for picking completely left field themes and music pieces, but this is too much even for me.

I don't know what smoke comes out of Vatican, but I know what his team has been smoking while creating this masterpiece

To my eyes, Grassl is looking less clunky every trip out. As long as they call his stuff correctly, I’m gonna stop hating.

Lutz tight, loop actually looked very good and I think it's better for him to move it straight down the ice rather than the curve he does in the SP. Salchow maybe short too. 3A+3T ugly toe loop technique but done. And now finally a bit of a program. 3A+2A+2A good. 3Lz+3T again with the technique issue but done. 3Lo done.

There's more of a consistency in interpreting the music here than most mens programs doing that many quads (ie let me throw away all of the program until the last 45 seconds or whatever), I'll give him that over Adam in that regard. But skating skills aren't there.
