Which means, IIRC, that Ami and Amber are the only 3A skaters who can possibly medal in Milan. The Koreans don’t have it, Rion and Rinka won’t be there, and I’m betting against Petrosian for a whole host of reasons.

Either Alysa or Kaori will win the gold and I’m fine with that. Sofia is my pick for a surprise medal, although I don’t count Isabeau out.

Apart from she's still dealing with the injury that prevented her from trying a 3A or any quads at the Skate to Milano qualifier? And her SP score at that comp was 7 points lower than what Alysa just scored this week at the GPF?

I can't speak for @PRlady but I just don't see Petrosian being much of a factor in Milano-Cortina. She might make the top 6, but I'm rather doubtful seeing that there are going to be 3 Japanese women & 3 American women who have each consistently outscored her Skate to Milano score during the GP & GPF.

When did she say she was going to compete next season? I figured especially if she wins Gold in Milan she would probably be done but maybe that even without winning a medal at the Olympics this season might be it for her.

In her KnC interview, she mentioned she can't wait to come back to COMPETE in Japan. Seemed to imply she's not done after this season.

I think she will skate until it's not fun anymore. She's not going to base her decisions on the Olympic quad. I can see her bailing right before the next Olympics or going another 10 years!
