It's completely true, but she probably just wants to push for the sake of it knowing that she has a cushion over the rest of the field.

Not to be all "will nobody think of the children!" but this is how these growing adolescents end up with all these stress fractures, and she could be using this pre-senior season to make sure she's healthy for her senior debut, but she and Rio don't wanna stop pushing, of course. I take your point about muscle memory through growth spurts, but the cost might be high. Still, I guess their teams know them better than I do, so I shall put my pearls away, but I do worry!
