Hey NYC FSUers!

As many of you know, I am a violinist/manager of opera singers (Vocal Artists Management Services). While I personally will not be performing this time around, I will be in New York City next week to present 18 of our singers in a FREE concert at the National Opera Center. It's on Thursday evening, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. Would love to see you there. Here is a link:

Sadly I’m headed back to OKC on the 11th. Looks like a great program and I’d love to watch later if you’re recording as well. I echo Garden Kitty and wish everyone the best!

@skateboy this is so kind of you to post these invites. Might there be some YouTube videos afterwards for FSUers who can't be there in person?

Hello friends! Here is the link to our Artist Showcase concert at the National Opera Center in NYC. Rather than post an hour and 40 minute video, I've edited each performance into 24 second segments (even one of me near the end, acknowledging our fine pianist for the evening), so the entire video is just over 7 minutes:

Edited to add: and we got a great review in New York Concert Review! https://nyconcertreview.com/reviews...nts-twelfth-season-artist-showcase-in-review/

I'm so glad for you, @skateboy , for being able to present these artists live and for the wonderful review :cheer2:

And Carolyn Tye, wheeeeee!

And singing the Brunnhilde/Siegfried duet takes guts .

Thank you, @kwanfan1818 !

The singers were so thrilled to be singing live after all these months, and the audience was excited to be at a live event as well. Yes, Caroline Tye is quite marvelous, and Lisa Bryce (Brunnhilde) learned the duet just for this performance. Everyone there showed proof of vaccination and all the audience members wore masks. Nice to be back in the swing of things!
