It won't take me to the US site when I click on the link. Grrrrrr!

I'll definitely watch to see if it goes on sale for Canada too.

In the meantime, I just checked on the Smashbox website and it is selling for $29 USD.....and they ship to Canada....and I was offered 15% off for my first order.

The downside is that it takes 14-20 business days to deliver to Canada from the Smashbox website and I may have to pay duty on it.

Hope Sephora Canada gets it act together soon....sheesh.
 
I am trying to figure out if I want to spend my 500 sephora points on the Clinique 500 points set. I know I will use all the skincare, but it is nothing new to me. I don't like the chubby lip sticks, for some reason they make my lips dry. I would like to try the highlighter, which I haven't.

I just don't know if something better will come along. It does take me a while to get 500 points!
 
Alright, glamourpusses, this gives me an idea. Which current lady has the best makeup job in your opinion? The most flattering, the best executed?
 
Tuktamysheva and Maia Shibutani always look flawless. Shibsibs vids where she looks perfect stepping of a 12 hour flight - what! I wish Maia would try something different at times though.
 
I agree, Maia always looks pretty. The universally hated Madison Chock does too. A shoutout to Gracie's skin this season, looks very nice (also Hanyu's skin, it looks perfect even in HD) Of course I will never make peace with red lipstick on Gracie. Madison yes, Gracie no.
 
LOL . I love RED lipstick. It is classic and there is a RED for everyone. Gracie and Maia can do a true red with their fair skins.

Maia likes "pin up" makeup but I wish she would try a bright colored winged liner. She's young and she should experiment with her makeup.

Gracie should be doing this type of makeup - Look 1 or Look 2. I would suggest that Gracie add some warmth to her hair color too. She adores Taylor Swift and Taylor's hair color and makeup are ALWAYS outstanding.

ITA about suggestions for Maia and for Gracie's hair color. Red lips--the blonde you linked has the right mouth for it and Gracie's doesn't. Her lips are too thin to pull it off, looks like a gash in her face, or at least really sharp. I think maybe a softer coral red like she had at the FS is more flattering.

I have missed GG's brows, what's wrong with them? Didn't look at the K&C situation.
 
ITA on Gracie's brows! Way, way too dark for her hair color. All I could see was eyebrows.

Also wasn't a fan of her hair in either program here. For the sp I loved the deep side part and side bun from SA and TEB. Here she had a middle part that only served to show off some odd stripy highlights. GG, please put it back like it was!
Her skin, as mentioned, was still looking flawless though! :respec:
 
Well, I understand the brow thing from personal experience. It takes a mere tap of my brow corrector to go from tiffed to frightening. I hate to count the "start over" days.

For me, the best are Alena Leonova and Elena ilinykh.



I adore a great complexion but I love bright and bold choices. I like Piper Gilles, Madison Chock and Madison Hubbell's makeup. Maia's complexion is gorgeous but I wish she would use some contouring. I find that brushing out excess product with a good brush helps correct over-emphasized brows.
 
My experience is that hair stylists/colorists don't think it's necessary to lighten the eyebrows when you go blonde. Mine are ash blonde and they bugged me to no end when I went really blonde. I had to take care of them myself at home with supermarket light blonde dye (did the trick). I look like a kid now though. :D
 
Stepanova has a gorgeous face and good makeup, not too overdone. Both Gracie and Ashley look over-made up, I think. Anna Cappalini knows her style!
 
Speaking of brows, I noticed this weekend that Stolbova's brows are very nice--bold, prominent, well-shaped. With her dark hair color, short haircut, and daring costumes, it works. Her makeup seems a little subdued compared to some of the other girls, but I don't think she needs anything more, she stands out so much as it is.

I actually think Meagan Duhamel does an interesting job with her makeup. I'm so not an expert on this, but whatever she's doing seems to add a little sparkle/warmth to her look, which helps, because her coloring is sort of dark and somewhat monotone, so the makeup livens it up.

I'm probably the only one, but I like Alexa Scimeca's makeup for the Metallica program. It's a little over the top, but it definitely stands out, helps set a mood.

I LOVE Alexa's makeup. It's very rock like.

I like Stolbova's makeup but I would to see a little more brozer and blush. It would warm up her complexion.

I don't know about that. I think sometimes lipstick maybe too "emollient" for the under eye area. It's basically using the corrector(color) method. I would recommend correction(usually in a pink,peach or salmon range) for your skin tone to cover any discoloration. I have a deep complexion so I use Bobbi Brown's very deep bisque. Add concealer over it to really brighten the eye. Done right, it's is incredible looking.

Elena I - This is FLAWLESS Makeup in my opinion. Gorgeous.
I've noticed that when makeup looks natural, it can sometimes mean the person used ALOT of products to achieve that look. I'd be willing to bet that Anna uses just as many or more products that Gracie or Ashley, however her application and blending methods may be different. I think Ashley probably only use about 4 products for the complextion(primer, foundation, concealer, powder). Gracie is very fair skinned and she probably has a really hard time finding a foundation match for her skin tone. Judging from the K&C, I would say Gracie may only use BB cream or foundation. She's definitely not using a waterproof or sweatproof foundation.
