Germany is hanging in there! They really had some bad luck lately and I hope they can do enough in the last rotation to qualify.

that would be a miracle after the injuries from Seitz and Malewski!Germany is hanging in there! They really had some bad luck lately and I hope they can do enough in the last rotation to qualify.
France probably - such a pity - so close!Germany in 10th. I expect Japan and China to go ahead. Anyone else?
Mostly injuries. Sydney Turner was injured and didn't compete in the trials, but is going to Pan Am Games. Denelle Pedrick unfortunately tore her ACL at the trials. Spence was coming off an injury and was only doing bars at the trials and Denomee was only able to do beam and floor, though she did compete recently in Romania.Canada doesn't qualify for the final. Good thing they are already going to the Olympics. This team is completely different, except for Black, from last year's Bronze medal team. Why is that?
She’s a very good gymnast. I got to judge her beam in the qualifying at the Mersin challenge cup last month and she went on to win bars and beam in the finals there. I’m so happy Ukraine will have a WAG athlete in Paris.Anna Lashchevska got olympic AA spot![]()
Thank you for confirming! When I saw her absolutely nail that UB routine I thought to myself, dare I say she could qualify for her first ever UB finals at Worlds and have officially qualified for all 4 apparatus finals at Worlds? It just speaks to her amazing determination, versatility and commitment toward improvement. Love her!Ellie Black qualified for the uneven bars final. She has now qualified for an apparatus final on each of the four apparatus at least once at a world championships. Also she has qualified for an apparatus final at every world championships in which she has competed going back to 2013 (she had to withdraw from the beam final in 2019 due to injury). Since her debut at the 2012 Olympic Games, the only time she did not qualify for an apparatus final at a world championships/olympics was in 2016. What an incredible accomplishment.
She qualified for worlds (I think via the apparatus world cups) but gave up her spot, presumably to focus on the Asian Games.By the way, where is Oksana Chusovitina?
Good chance. I still have some previous competitions in “My Stuff”What are the chances peacock will keep the Men's team final up for replay so I can watch at night? Going to try to watch on my phone at work but will probably be so distracted I won't even see it. ?
Yes for the first time in 20 years, Canada will have full MAG and WAG teams at the Olympic Games! If I am right both Men's and Women's team for Canada qualified for 2024 Olympics...
They would have had to have finished higher than Korea to qualify for the Olympics - Korea is the 9th and final qualifier from this event.oh, in the end 1th of a point behind Canada - the step out of bounds by Sarah maybe the reason they did not qualify by a breath. poor girls.
Came here to say that! I still remember that awful year here they didn't qualify for the first time...all the girls having a meltdown.I'm so happy that Romania finally qualified a full team for the Olympics again! That program has come a long way and the girls seem much happier and healthier now too. Good for them!
Congrats to all the countries that qualified women's teams for Paris today!![]()
I adore this post from Svetlana Boguinskaya celebrating both Simone Biles and Oksana Chusovitina.

That means no Olympics for her? ?She qualified for worlds (I think via the apparatus world cups) but gave up her spot, presumably to focus on the Asian Games.
Ah I thought top 12 would qualify. That is better then. They would have had to have finished higher than Korea to qualify for the Olympics - Korea is the 9th and final qualifier from this event.
The 3 medalists from last year (US, UK, Canada) qualified already so it was top 9 non-qualified teams.Ah I thought top 12 would qualify. That is better then.
