GPdF 2025 PBP - Pairs FS: “A Bird In The Hand Is Worth Two In The Plus (GOE)”

3T her rotation again tight+1A+1A. Her Salchow actually looked okay?

A LOT of recycled moves here from old programs without this screaming Gladiator at all. And WHY it gotta always go opera version these days? The soundtrack holds on it's own. There are a lot of elements packed into the end but I don't think there's really any choreography here?

/puts m&k hater hat on
I really how Sui and Han can skate and don't let this pair win an Olympics.

MiuKih - 3tw - good; SBS 3t+1a+1a - she might as well have been across the Channel since they were clearly in different time zones; first lift - excellent; throw 3f - really great; BODS - nice; pairs combo spin - decent; SBS 3s - much better than the SBS combo; second lift - good; throw 3lo - good; last lift - kind of biffed the really cool upside down exit; choreo seq - fine.

I really hate the pandering music choice, but I'm hard-pressed to see a world where they're not on the Olympic podium, they're that solid right now.

Well, is there always not much expression from the Japanese? I hear very loud Italian singing but just some skating around down below. I guess the final pose counts for something.

This. so much this. Bocelli makes it overwrought. It makes every mistake they do more distracting. It makes the sloppiness even sloppier.

This program was such a mess. It's really all their weaknesses as skaters and as a pair thrown in your face.

M/K almost tripped on the transition out of that last lift and seemed behind already. Not the most inspiring ending, but still early in the season.

I think this heavy "Gladiator" warbling is a bit overwhelming for these two.
