It's pairs - we need to drink for everything.Do we drink for single salchows?
Only to forget.Do we drink for single salchows?
Would have been 4th, but I think the rule is that if any spots get turned back they go to the next country without spots; assuming they follow that logic, they would have needed 3rd to actually get the spot. That score would have in fact beaten Kovalevs in Skate to Milano and likely gotten the Olympic spot. For people that insist on comparative stats in every competition following.
Was thinking the same, particularly with the bun and collar.Katie MacBeth giving Sasha Cohen vibes. (Not a new observation, I'm sure)
This version of Caruso is soulless. No emotion or feeling at all. That was a bunch of nothing. Can't stand his puffed out chest and hunched back in the lifts. Music was all too one-note really. Underwhelmed for the most part.
That's how the rule appears to be written, but the official Alternates List the ISU released after Skate to Milano has all the countries who've already qualified spots in different disciplines listed. Officially, the USA is in the 3rd alternate position for pairs.Would have been 4th, but I think the rule is that if any spots get turned back they go to the next country without spots; assuming they follow that logic, they would have needed 3rd to actually get the spot.
Don't believe that's the case? I think it's just the alternates list in whatever order happened in the Olympic qualifying competition. Checking now but don't see anything that says otherwise yet, plus alternates list.Would have been 4th, but I think the rule is that if any spots get turned back they go to the next country without spots; assuming they follow that logic, they would have needed 3rd to actually get the spot.

Katie Macbeth has entered the rink, according to Chris!
Their unison has been off this whole program.

It does say that in the qualifying doc - Section F - "Reallocation of Unused Quota Places" on page 7.Don't believe that's the case? Why do they bother writing the rules if they're not going to follow them???That's how the rule appears to be written, but the official Alternates List the ISU released after Skate to Milano has all the countries who've already qualified spots in different disciplines listed.
