That was a bit of a battle for Maddie but it wasn't too bad overall. Don't think it will be enough to keep her on the podium BUT I have to say how much I love both of Maddie's dresses in this event. That color today looks gorgeous on her.

You know, I realize that the classic story of Romeo & Juliet is set in Renaissance Italy, but when you're skating to the Baz Luhrmann movie soundtrack, maybe at least recognize that the setting has been moved to 1990s southern California and design a costume that fits THAT setting instead?
