We're supposed to be getting some music thingies this week; whether it will be music players or what, I don't know. But according to an article I read, we will wake up to that one day very soon.

There's a new "Report/Remove Tag" option underneath the pictures, slightly on the right, below "Tag this photo", "Download" and "Make Profile Picture".2) You can't untag photos. (time to turn on the tag review setting!)
Can someone tell me how put someone (or a group of someones) on limited settings? I want to have some people be able to see very little (pretty much nothing) but I don't want to unfriend, and I can't work out how to do it!
How do I make an "all news" list? I want my facebook to look normal!

I just discovered that I can manage what I see with lists. Create your list, select the list on the left hand side of the page, manage lists and select or "de-select" the updates to show.
And you can do the same thing with friends. Hover over their name, go to the "subscribed" selection and "de-select" those things you do not want to see.
Can people see the lists I create? I don't want anyone seeing if they're on a "you suck" list
No.Can people see the lists I create? I don't want anyone seeing if they're on a "you suck" list
Pretty much how I feel about the changes.

Reading this thread reminds me why I don't do facebook....trying to keep myself private would be a full time job it seems
That's not true - on Facebook, you're supposed to use your real name. On message boards and other sites, you can use an alias. That's the main reason why people want the privacy settings kept locked down, the way they had it set. It's pretty straight forward though, don't share what you don't want people to know. It's really no different to anywhere else on the internet.

That said, there are a lot of people who have no privacy settings on Facebook, use their real names, list their hometowns and relative's names. Then they post "Going out of town for a week..." It's just asking to be robbed, lol.
Plus, you don't have to use your real name. My FB is set to max privacy settings, too, and I don't think I ever put in my address and phone numbers. At any rate, they aren't posted. As for the people posting all their information and posts about going out of town, well, that's them. That isn't something you (general) have to do. I don't think Facebook is as evil as some would like to think.
