Engagements & Weddings in the figure skating world, 2022 onwards

I was surprised when Piper Gilles announced she and her hubby were having a second wedding, given how recent the first wedding was. My first thought was, why? My second was "my gawd, the expense!"

Piper really seems to be enjoying all the second wedding preparations. I'm glad. I want her to get her money's worth!:)
I think Piper's first wedding was small so her husband's grandmother could attend. A 2nd larger wedding was always the plan but her ovarian surgery and subsequent cancer diagnosis put the plans on hold.

Chock's veil is gorgeous and the flowers are amazing.

Not loving the skirt on the dress. It feels too full and heavy. The bodice is really lovely.

I like the simplicity of Chock's dress. The skirt/waist is a tad bit high for me but other than that, I find it absolutely beautiful. I also think that it was the perfect choice for the veil.

Mae-Berenice had some nice pics of Vanessa in her dress, that gave a closer look, but I think they expired. Vanessa looks beautiful.

Photos from Madi and Evanโ€™s wedding welcome party. Madi designed her dress, and it was made by Mathieu Caron.

Haruka Imai (2-times Nepela Trophy champion; she was a cast member for Mao Asada's Everlasting 33 show) got married to Shu Nakamura (3rd for Bavarian Open;he was also a cast member for Mao's Eeverlasting 33 show).

Congratulations!!

They skated together to the music of Romeo and Juliet for Mao's show - it's great that they have a happy ending!๐Ÿฅฐ
