So, Josephine's put together one of her decent Nationals FS performances here today at DTM. I suppose she can keep her SkAm host spot, lol.

ETA - scores are taking forever, so I'm guessing the tech panel is going to town, lol. They changed the on-screen element tracker from yesterday so it doesn't show which elements are under review, so I have no idea which jumps were getting reviewed, but I'm sure at least a couple were.

ETA2 - yup - tech panel went HARD. She's into 2nd with 2 skaters to go.

Of course, then Maddie comes along and stinks up the joint even worse... two 2a+2t combinations! Her other combo was 2lo+2t+1a, and there was a 1f in there too. She's definitely not beating Ahsun Yun for silver. I'll be curious as to whether or not she can stay ahead of Josephine, TBH.

Nah. Judges propped her up on PCS - more than enough of a cushion to stay ahead of Josephine overall.

No, she had 3 combos, but she repeated the exact same combo twice, so one of them was marked as an invalid element.

As it is, I don't see how she holds off the other Canadian women coming for that Olympic spot this season.

NesMark won Jr Worlds two years after the Browns won Jr Worlds. I'm not sure why you would assume that NesMark, who are in their 2nd senior season, are better than the Browns, who are in their 4th senior season.

I think it’s less about EXTRA and more about style. She was too soft in her movements in the early parts of the program. Would work perhaps for different music but not the right style here.

Rewound the live stream and watched the top 6 RDs. DavSmo actually have a pretty decent RD - certainly one of the better ones that I've seen this season so far. The Browns have also improved (as one would expect) since they debuted at LPIDI. FabAyer and NesMark are still missing the mark with their RDs. ReiMaj and ValKaz are interchangeable Ricky Martin RDs.
