Denis Ten ‏@Tenis_Den 2h
A little story about my feelings, plans and SHOW. http://www.astanatimes.com/2014/02/ten-wins-kazakhstans-first-ever-medal-olympic-figure-skating/ …
Twitter:
Ten hosted a skating show with figure skating stars last year and wants to repeat such a show in Kazakhstan by inviting some of his figure skating counterparts from all over the globe. His only concern is that the show was named after him, and he’d like to change it to something bigger, something like, “Kazakhstan Invites Friends,” he said, “to place the emphasis on our country first of all.”
He's such a great guy.![]()
Thank youAll new interview with Denis:

Yeah a guy with 2 World medals and a Olympic medal only has a single GP medal.HE MAKES NO SENSE![]()
He's a late season skater.
He still should not be bombing in his early competitions like he always seems to do. Kostner and Slutskaya still won medals on the GP even when not at their best but Denis takes himself out of contention and someone with his talent should be better then that. He's a late season skater. He isn't the only one. Slutskaya was one. Carolina Kostner. Maybe Jason.
Denis pushes himself to tackle two new programs every year (since 2009). I really believe this is how his learning process works. All those disastrous skates we see early in the season are the way he feels his way through those programs. I think he had a lot of years of not understanding that and being frustrated, but he really seems to have come to grips now with fact that this is his process.
someone with his talent should be better then that.
He is. At the end of every season.
I'm sure it's frustrating, but I would rather see him keep pushing & tackling new goals: jumps & new material. Which he always does.
Training clip with the quad sal, etc.

Where is he training in this clip?
Perhaps most surprisingly, he says he may continue beyond Pyeongchang.
A new article on Denis Ten from GoldenSkate.
His peripatetic lifestyle continues--he has trained all over the place this year, but says he will be returning to Los Angeles (and Frank??) for a while, at least. He has 2 new programs choreographed by Benoit Richaud and David Wilson. He's not ready to reveal the music, but says the SP is by a Kazakh artist.
