Well, I'm loving every minute of it. I'm so glad I set my alarm for 3:45 a.m. central to watch this historical event. I'm totally disappointed, however, that the Coronation Concert will not be televised here in the US. When Katy and Lionel announced on American Idol this past week that they would be performing, I just assumed that either ABC, BBC America or LPB would broadcast it live. No such luck, however! Oh well! At least we were able to see the Coronation.

I wonder what Prince George is thinking, knowing that one day (hopefully far in the future) it will be him in that position.

He was probably wondering when they'd get to eat. He's 9. I did think William could have memorized his oath rather than read it from the prompt. It wasn't that long. That oath used to be extremely important. Maybe they wanted to make sure he didn't make a mistake.

I woke up 8 am (eastern time). I missed the church ceremony but I’m always amazed how perfectly they pull it off. As a common person I’m planning to do grass cutting on my property and picking up dog poop ?).

I skipped a lot watching a live feed and that was one terribly long event. I do still enjoy the pump and circumstance, however.

As a commonwealth country .. Ahead of the coronation of King Charles the question is being asked – will Canada's currency be updated for the new monarch? Although it has been months since King Charles III assumed his new role as monarch, Canada has yet to update its currency to include images of the new sovereign

Very interesting and a really good ceremony. After the King and Queen left I continued to watch but finally turned off the tv just before 5 am and went to bed. Got up at 7:30am for my class.
